Accommodation and Catering

We have excellent accommodation facilities at Stephenson College across our two sites. We have 433 undergraduate bedrooms on our Howlands Farm site as well as undergraduate and postgraduate rooms at our Ernest Place site.

Living in College accommodation

Stephenson is a self-catered College, which means students have the chance to experiment with your own home-cooking in the kitchen with your fellow flatmates! Rooms at our Howlands Farm and Ernest Place sites are arranged around a shared kitchen, which are a great social space where you can cook and eat together with your friends, giving you the flexibility and freedom to eat whenever and whatever you want!

Self-catered kitchens and supplementary catering facilities will include posters providing general food allergy information, allergen awareness information will be included within residential student pre-arrival information and alternative / secure food storage is to be available to those with a disclosed food allergy. You can find the University's Food Allergens Policy here.
