The programme has helped me gain a much deeper understanding of the marketing world, and learning about practical areas such as digital marketing has already helped me to stand out in cover letters and interviews. One of the stand-out aspects of my specific marketing course was the opportunity to conduct a social media project in place of a traditional dissertation. This option felt much better for me and gave me the chance to develop practical marketing experience and a portfolio I could show to future employers.

The course, alongside the faculty and students, have taught me vital lessons about communication, collaboration and the industry, allowing me to connect with various individuals from around the world, as well as explore exciting modules such as Buyer Behaviour and Psychology and Digital Marketing Communications. Being part of this course and university has allowed to be realise my career aspirations as a future marketer within the film industry, the likes of which I believe can be achieved through studying under the industry professionals at Durham.
