How Registration Works

When you purchase a lecture package, you may select any combination of lectures from across the Climate Change E-Academy programme, up to the number included in your package. This flexible approach allows participants to tailor their learning experience to their own interests, professional needs, and areas of expertise.

For example:

  • A 4-lecture package allows attendance at up to four lectures selected from across the programme.
  • A 10-lecture package allows attendance at up to ten lectures selected from across the programme.
  • A 14-lecture package provides access to all fourteen lectures offered within the programme.

Lecture selections may be made from across the programme schedule, subject to availability and registration deadlines.

Please note that the organisers reserve the right to amend lecture content, speakers, dates, or timings where necessary due to unforeseen circumstances.

*Preferential Registration Rates for Participants from Developing Countries

As part of our commitment to fostering global participation and ensuring equitable access, the E-Academy offers preferential registration rates for participants affiliated with academic institutions, research centres, government bodies, and non-profit organisations located in developing countries.

Eligibility

Eligibility is determined according to the World Bank's annual country income classifications. Participants whose primary institutional affiliation is located in a country classified by the World Bank as a Low-Income Economy (LIC), or Lower-Middle-Income Economy (LMIC), may apply for the preferential registration rates.

Applicants can verify their country's classification using the World Bank Country and Lending Groups database:

Verification Requirements

To qualify for preferential rates, applicants must:

  • Register using an official institutional email address;
  • Provide their full name, position, and institutional affiliation;
  • Confirm the country in which their institution is based;
  • Provide any additional information reasonably requested by the organisers for verification purposes.

Applications for preferential rates are subject to review and approval by the organisers. The organisers reserve the right to request further documentation and to decline or revoke discounted registration where eligibility cannot be verified.

The applicable discount will be determined according to the World Bank country classification in force at the time of registration.
