Biography
I am a postdoctoral researcher on the Chasing Likes project, where I study what causes adults and teenagers to use and overuse social media. My research investigates how certain features of social media, like social feedback and notifications, tune into how our body and brain naturally responds to social rewards, reinforcing social media behaviours.
Prior to this work, I completed a post-doc in the Cowie Lab, where I used Virtual Reality to study how children and adults learn to use bodies that can be very different from their own body.
