Staff profile

I am a PhD student in the Centre for Neurodiversity and Development at Durham University. My research employs mixed methods to investigate masking in autistic adolescents and young people, with a particular focus on how masking varies across different social contexts and its relationship with authentic self-expression and well-being.

Prior to my PhD, I completed an MSc in Social Cognition at University College London. My master's research explored the impact of auditory perception and social demands on the social communication skills of autistic children.

My PhD is supervised by Dr Amy Pearson and Dr Monique Botha and is funded by a China Scholarship Council (CSC) scholarship.
