Biography

I received my B.Eng. degree and M.Eng. degree from the Department of Electronics Engineering at Shanghai Jiaotong University, Shanghai, China, in 1998 and 2001, respectively. I received my Ph.D. degree from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Alberta in 2006. I then worked as a postdoctoral fellow in the iCORE Wireless Communications Laboratory at the same department. From 2007 to 2022, I worked as an Assistant Professor, an Associate Professor and then a Reader in the School of Engineering at the University of Warwick. Currently, I am working as a Professor of Signal Processing and Communications in the Department of Engineering at the University of Durham.

I am a Fellow of IEEE, IET and AAIS. I have been reconized as Highly Cited Researchers by Clarivate and World Top 2% Scientists by Stanford/Elsevier since 2020. I am currently serving as an Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Aerospace and Electronic Systems and SCIENCE CHINA Information Sciences.
